Πώς να πίνεις και να σερβίρεις σωστά το κρασί

What is a “moustardopotiro” in Greek homes?
A wine guide praising proper glassware pauses to salute a humbler vessel: «η μεγάλη ελληνική εφεύρεση το μουσταρδοποτήρο» (“the great Greek invention, the mustard-jar glass”). The μουσταρδοποτήρι is exactly that: an empty mustard (or honey) jar washed out and reused as an everyday drinking glass, a fixture of thrifty Greek kitchens.
It blends μουστάρδα (“mustard”) with ποτήρι (“glass”), and the speaker insists we shouldn’t snob it (“δεν πρέπει να το σνομπάρουμε”). Half nostalgia, half national in-joke, it’s the Greek answer to making do, and proof that the best wine doesn’t always need crystal.
