Some real numbers behind it, measured over four weeks across every language. On 72% of the days someone watches Reelang, they watch five videos or fewer. 86% of learners never pass ten videos in a day, and 94% never pass twenty. Under 1% ever go past fifty. At the far end there are people watching 130 videos in one sitting and coming back to do it again the next day, and those are the sessions a limit actually touches.
Why have one at all: Reelang is two people and no investors. Reelang+ subscriptions pay for everything. Every video in your feed has to be found, watched, graded for level, subtitled and translated before it reaches you, and that costs real money every single day. We'd love to hand all of it out for free forever, and we can only keep giving most of it away if the people getting the most out of Reelang help carry the cost. That's the whole idea behind Reelang+.
