Watching a Chinese video with Smart Subtitles on? The word being spoken should light up as you go, so your eye stays with the voice instead of hunting for the spot. On Chinese it doesn't yet: you get the coloured underlines, but nothing follows along.
Chinese runs on without spaces between words, so before anything can light up we have to work out where each word begins and ends. We've done that for Korean and Japanese already, and Chinese is the one we're on now.
