How do you say “are we there yet” in Hungarian?

Every Hungarian parent dreads “Ott vagyunk már?” — the universal kid’s whine from the back seat, exactly equal to English “Are we there yet?” It packs three handy beginner pieces into three words: ott (there), the verb-less “vagyunk” being-statement (we are), and már, the little particle for “already / by now” that turns a flat question into an impatient one.

The clip stacks the whole impatience kit: “Mikor érünk oda?” (When do we get there?), “Mikor leszünk ott?” (When will we be there?), and the weary parental “Majd!” (Later! / In due time!) and “még két óra van” (there’s still two hours). Drop the már and “Ott vagyunk?” is a neutral “Are we there?”; keep it and you sound like you have asked five times already — which is the point.
